Duplex 2205 Pipe – Grade Overview
Duplex steel 2205 pipe has a two-phase microstructure of roughly equal austenite and ferrite. This gives duplex 2205 pipes about twice the yield strength of 316L, together with excellent resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, pitting and erosion.
We supply UNS S31803 / S32205 seamless and welded pipes to ASTM A790 for offshore platforms, oil & gas flowlines, desalination, chemical tankers and pulp & paper digesters.
