SS 304 Pipe
The most widely used 18/8 austenitic grade – seamless & welded SS 304 pipes for food, water, chemical and structural use.

SS 304L pipe is the low-carbon version of grade 304, with carbon limited to 0.035% maximum. This small change has a big benefit: when a stainless steel 304L pipe is welded, chromium carbides do not form at the grain boundaries, so the heat-affected zone keeps its full corrosion resistance without post-weld annealing.
As an SS 304L pipe supplier serving Gujarat and all of India, Innovative Corporation supplies seamless and welded 304L pipes, usually dual-certified 304/304L, so that you get the strength of 304 with the weldability of 304L in a single product.
Use 304L for site-welded process lines, pressure vessels, tanks, nitric-acid service, fertilizer plants and any thick-wall component where post-weld heat treatment is impractical. Its slightly lower strength than 304 is rarely a design limitation in piping.
For chloride-bearing media, step up to SS 316L pipe.

SS 304L has a maximum carbon content of 0.035% compared with 0.08% for SS 304. Lower carbon prevents sensitisation during welding, making 304L better for welded assemblies.
A dual-certified pipe meets the chemistry of 304L and the strength of 304 at the same time, so it can be used where either grade is specified.
Indicative SS 304L pipe price is around ₹250 – ₹300 per kg. Contact us for current rates based on size and schedule.
