SS 316L Pipe – Grade Overview
SS 316L pipe combines the chloride resistance of molybdenum-bearing 316 with the low carbon (0.035% max) needed for corrosion-free welds. That makes stainless steel 316L pipe the standard material for pharmaceutical purified water and WFI loops, biotech skids, chemical plants and marine lines that are fabricated by orbital or manual welding.
